Follow-Up Drug Testing

Follow-up testing is an essential step for employees returning to work after a drug or alcohol policy violation. Ordered by a Substance Abuse Professional (SAP), it consists of unannounced tests over a period (typically 12 months or longer). These tests are in addition to other standard testing programs and help ensure continued sobriety. Follow-up testing supports workplace safety while giving employees a path to recovery.
